The kind of rivalry between the web streaming giant Netflix and the greatest comic publisher Marvel seems to have no end at all. Let’s not forget Netflix’s decision to cancel all the Marvel series and leave the god-father of the comic stories with no option. However, Marvel has always been pretty lucky in getting rid of troubling situations and finding a better way to resolve the issues concerning their shows. Thanks to the Disney chief for collaborating with Marvel and letting them know that ” no worry pal, we guys are backing you ”. I mean, in a matter of few months only, Disney+ will take all the responsibilities airing Marvel’s shows and that too with no interruption.
We are unsure what caused Netflix to say ” bye-bye ” to the creator of some of the greatest comic superheroes, although the dispute has somehow enabled Disney to challenge the monopoly of Netflix. It all started with the streaming giant cancelling fan’s favourite The Punisher Jacket by Jon Bernthal which surprising the fans to the extent that nobody was ready for this blow. Off course the dramatic cancellation of The Punisher was a clear message to the Marvel by the Netflix indicating there might be no business in the future between the two.
“I think that’s right. I think in this business, you gotta be grateful for what you got, that you had the opportunity to do it, you had an opportunity to work with people you love and respect. And you gotta kinda leave it at that,” Bernthal said at the Fan Fest Chicago. “A lot of these decisions about what goes out there, those decisions happen in rooms that we’re definitely not invited to [laughs]. And the cool thing about the way stuff is now, it’s not going anywhere, it’s right there on Netflix. It’s there forever,” Bernthal added.
Keeping in mind the awful situation has been pretty problematic both for the fans and the makers, the show’s cast members including Jon Bernthal are concentrating towards their job to give the best to the audience while neglecting the unwanted scenarios which is only temporary.
“When I’m playing the character and I’m doing the job and it’s right there in front of me, I do whatever I can to make it as good as I can. But in this business there’s so much we can’t control. Whatever is happening with these shows, these decisions are being made in rooms I’m not invited into and I’m OK with that,” Bernthal revealed.
Whatever forced the Netflix to bring an end to Marvel shows, the comic book publisher has found a way to tackle the issue with Dinsey’s assistance who has established Disney+ in an attempt to get rid of the conditions of an external web streaming service.
So, there is no need to be panicked at all, instead, be excited to see that maniac eliminating the bad guys wearing the Punisher season 2 Jon Bernthal vest in the upcoming season.
